Privacy policy
Effective September 30, 2026.
This page is also in Spanish. If the two versions ever differ, the one more favorable to you applies.
This policy covers this website and how I handle information from people who contact me or hire me. I’m Josh Molina, and I run Ironclad Technologies, LLC, based in DeSoto, TX. When this page says “I” or “me,” it means me and my business.
The short version
- This site doesn’t set cookies of its own, and has no ad pixels or tracking scripts. The only analytics is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
- I collect what you send me, plus the records of any job I do for you.
- I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for targeted advertising.
- I call, text or message you only about your request or your job, and I stop when you ask.
What I collect
What you send me. When you use the form, call, text, message me on WhatsApp or email, I get your name, your phone number, your email if you give it, and whatever you tell me about the job. The form asks only for what I need to get back to you. Please don’t send passwords, card numbers or health information through the form.
Job and billing records. If you hire me: the job address, quotes, signed terms, invoices and payment records, job notes, warranty records, and details of the equipment I install or register for you. When you pay online through Stripe, your card details go to Stripe, not to me.
Passwords and logins I set up for you belong to you, and I hand them over at the end of the job.
Technical data. This site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, browser information, the page you asked for and the time.
The contact form. When you send the form, it goes to a small program of mine that also runs on Cloudflare. That program passes your message to HubSpot, and HubSpot emails me a copy. It passes on what you typed, plus a record of your consent: the checkbox wording and fine print, the page and the time. Your browser never connects to HubSpot, and the program doesn’t pass on your IP address or browser details.
This site has no ad pixels, tracking cookies, chat widgets or embedded videos. It does use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages were viewed, the site you came from, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the pages load. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and Cloudflare says it doesn’t fingerprint visitors or follow them across sites. Its counting script loads from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com).
How I use it
- To answer your request, come look, and quote the job
- To schedule and do the work, invoice you and take payment
- To keep warranty and support records, and to honor the warranty
- To register parts in your name with the manufacturer, so the warranty is yours
- To keep the business records I need for taxes and the law
- To keep this site running and secure
Who I share it with
Your information goes to these kinds of companies and people, only for the reasons above:
- Web hosting, security and the contact form: Cloudflare hosts this site, runs the program behind the contact form, and processes connection data to deliver and protect the site. If a page fails to load, your browser may also send Cloudflare a short error report, such as the page address and the kind of error (what Cloudflare calls Network Error Logging).
- Email, calendar and files: Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar and Drive). The email copy of each form message lands in my Gmail.
- Customer records: HubSpot, where I keep contact and job records, including form messages and their consent records.
- Invoices and payments: Stripe.
- Electronic signatures: Jotform Sign, for signing quotes and terms.
- Calls and texts: my mobile phone carrier carries my calls and texts and keeps its own records of them.
- Phone messaging and backup: my phone is an iPhone, so Apple’s iMessage and iCloud may also carry texts or store copies of my messages.
- WhatsApp: if you message me on WhatsApp, your messages go through WhatsApp, which Meta owns.
- File storage and backups: GitHub. My business files (job photos, notes, quotes, signed paperwork and invoice copies) and the spreadsheet I track jobs in are backed up there, in a private repository.
- Automation tools, for example Zapier: they can move your contact details between the tools above so I don’t retype them.
- AI tools that help me with email and paperwork, so your messages can pass through them.
- Helpers: when a job needs two people, the helper working with me sees the job details they need, such as the address and the work to be done.
- Manufacturers: when I register parts in your name for warranty, the maker gets your name and contact details.
- When the law requires it: for example, to answer a court order or subpoena.
Each of these companies handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
No selling, no targeted ads
I don’t sell your personal information, and I don’t share it for targeted advertising.
Calls, texts and WhatsApp
If you checked the box on the contact form, you agreed to calls and texts about that request, and nothing else. I don’t send marketing texts or messages. The same goes when you call, text or message me on WhatsApp first: I only get back to you about what you asked.
When I call, text or message you, I say who I am and that I’m with Ironclad Technologies, and give you a number to reach me at.
To stop calls, texts or WhatsApp messages, reply STOP, or tell me any other way: a text, a WhatsApp message, a call, an email, or in person. I’ll stop within 10 business days at most, and usually right away. If you have a job in progress, tell me how you’d rather hear from me, such as email.
Once you ask me to stop, your number goes on my do-not-contact list and stays there for 5 years from your request.
This section is my written do-not-call policy. Ask, and I’ll send you a copy.
How long I keep it
- Requests that don’t turn into a job: deleted 12 months after the last contact.
- Customer records (quotes, invoices, signed terms, job notes and warranty records): kept up to 7 years after the job, for warranty, tax and legal reasons.
- The do-not-contact list: 5 years from your request.
- Records that Cloudflare, my phone carrier and the other services keep on their own systems follow their own policies.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your information
You can ask to see the information I have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Call, text, message me on WhatsApp or email me. I’ll answer within 45 days. I may need to confirm it’s you first, for example by calling the number I have for you. If you ask me to delete something I have to keep, such as an invoice for taxes or a signed contract, I’ll tell you what and why, and delete the rest.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards. Records are kept in password-protected business accounts, and this site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, I’ll notify you as Texas law requires.
Children
This site and my services aren’t directed to children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site doesn’t track you, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Either way, nothing is tracked.
Other companies tracking you
I don’t allow other companies to collect information about your online activity over time or across other websites through this site. Cloudflare processes connection data to run and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If a Cloudflare security check runs, it may set a security cookie; the Cookies page explains.
Links to other sites
When you follow a link from this site to another site or app, such as WhatsApp, that site’s or app’s own privacy policy applies.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I’ll post the new version on this page, update the date at the top, and add a line below saying what changed.
