Refunds & cancellations

Here’s how cancelling and refunds work at Ironclad Technologies, LLC. Your written quote and signed terms have the details for your job, and nothing here limits your rights under the law.
Your right to cancel within 3 business days
If you’re buying for personal, family or household use, and you agree to the purchase after I visit you at your home or anywhere other than my place of business, you can cancel until midnight of the third business day after you sign. Your contract shows the exact date.
- Your contract and the cancellation notice come in the language the sales talk was mainly in: English or Spanish.
- To cancel, send me the signed cancellation notice or any written message saying you’re cancelling. A text or an email works.
- Within 10 business days after I get your cancellation, I refund everything you paid, deposits included, and tell you whether I’ll pick up anything I already delivered.
- Cancelling in time costs you nothing: no fee, and nothing owed for any work already done.
I honor this right even if you asked me to come out, you signed electronically, or you paid a deposit.
After the 3 days, and for business customers
The 3-day right is for consumer purchases; business customers don’t have it. These rules apply from the day you sign if you’re a business customer, or if the 3-day right doesn’t cover your purchase. For a purchase it does cover, they apply once the 3 business days have passed.
- Cancel before work starts: I refund your labor deposit. Parts I’ve already bought for your job are yours, and I hand them over with the receipts. Any parts money I haven’t spent yet comes back to you.
- Cancel after work has started: the labor deposit isn’t refundable. Parts bought for your job are still yours.
- PC builds work the same way, with the line drawn when assembly begins: cancel before assembly begins and the labor deposit comes back; once assembly has begun, it doesn’t. Parts are yours either way.
Small jobs
Jobs under $300 are billed in full when they’re finished.
Quotes and price changes
Quotes are valid for 30 days. If something unexpected comes up that would change the price, work stops and I tell you before anything changes.
Warranty fixes
If workmanship covered by my limited 90-day warranty fails within those 90 days, I fix it at no charge for labor. Parts go through their manufacturer’s warranty. For PC builds, the $95 diagnostic fee applies only if a build comes back for warranty service and I find no workmanship defect.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days after I get your cancellation. Card refunds can take a few extra days to show on your statement.
